Job Description Lutheran Family Services is seeking a supervisor for the Medication Management program to work 30 hours/week.Key Accountabilities Lead Medication Management Program Provide leadership to the medication management team.Coordinate activities of the program by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of staff.Analyze patient flow problems and inefficiencies and assist in instituting solutions.

Monitor and manage daily provider schedules to maintain program productivity standards.Responsible for the day-to-day development, management, and evaluation of systems to promote effective, efficient, responsive, and quality service delivery.Responsible for building and maintaining a referral base and caseload for program.

Provide protocol and training for program staff.Monitor State of Nebraska and Region definitions and requirements for medication management and adjust program processes and procedures accordingly.Collaboration Build and maintain positive relationships with individuals and organizations within the community.

Interact and collaborate regularly with providers to provide direction and oversight of effective schedules, efficient clinic work flow and patient flow, establishing and maintaining a cooperative relationship of trust with providers.Work to establish and maintain a positive team environment.Provide Direct Service Serve as back-up to clinical support staff.Support on-call needs.

Consult with patients regarding concerns, such as behavior, attendance, and compliance.Manage Medication Management Team Lead a team of program staff in the execution of work plans and short and long term goals.Provide recruitment, hiring, orientation, training, coaching, mentoring, goal setting and evaluation of performance of staff.Assure completion of any documentation, forms needed for client service.

Maintain adequate staffing patterns and levels to provide outstanding patient care and effective and efficient clinic services.Engage in regular team visits with staff to observe, mentor, and coach staff in a manner that creates a culture of accountability and fosters continual improvement.Integrate cultural considerations into service delivery.Financial Accountabilities Responsible for managing and monitoring of budgeted revenues and expenditures as established in the annual budget.

Assist with forecasting needs of the program.Participate in monthly budget meetings.Work to establish a sustainable model for program.Performance Metrics Review and develop strategies to maintain productivity at 70% attendance rate for each provider.Lead team in maintaining outcome of 70% of clients will have improved functioning/reduced symptoms.

Qualifications Associate s Degree in Nursing or Bachelor s Degree in nursing, human services, or related field required.Master s Degree preferred. 2-4 years experience in behavioral health or related field.Experience in progressive supervisory responsibilities.Working experience in multi-disciplinary approach to physical, mental health, and chemical dependency.

Bi-lingual preferred, but not required.
