LOUISE's story
Hi, Im Louise! My sister Thelma and I are new to Nebraska and looking for our furever homes. Im an outgoing young girl whos always up for an adventure. I absolutely love being outdoors and active, until my nap time of course. For naps, I go to my kennel. I go willingly but will voice my frustration for a couple of minutes because it reminds me of doggy jail from before. My goal is to be kennel free soon. Im working hard to earn my foster parents trust by being a good girl and going potty only in the backyard. My favorite thing in the whole wide world is to play with my foster sister in the backyard. There are lots of animals in my foster home for me to play with: big ones, small ones, young ones, old ones, dogs and cats. I get along with everyone although I wish the cats would play with me more. Im learning to walk on a leash in the neighborhood. I dont mind it too much but I'd much prefer to run around in a nice big yard. Recently, I got to go to the dog park. I rode in the truck and everything! Wow, that was exciting! I just laid on the back seat and enjoyed the ride. At the park, there were so many dogs and so many smells. All the humans kept telling me how beautiful I was and I got so many pets. I was so muddy afterwards that my foster dad had to give me a bath. Not a huge fan but I tolerated it well enough and it was worth it for the treats afterwards. I did love the way I felt and smelled. Well, thats me. Im a young girl thats still learning but Im incredibly smart. My ideal family will be outgoing and will take me places. Theyll have a yard for me to play with a 6 ft. fence to keep me out of trouble. If Im lucky, theyll even have a brother or sister for me to play with. Do I sound like youre kind of girl? I hope to meet you soon.
