OBO Kawasaki Ninja 1200 for sale in Lincoln, Nebraska

$5

Black 2005 ZX-12R $5,500 O.B.O Ok, you've read the line a hundred times but, I'll say it anyway. I hate to see it go but, it's time to part ways with my baby. I'm looking to get into some investments and want some extra money for that otherwise I wouldn't be selling it. I am motivated to sell as i've made up my mind and there's no use in delaying my plans. Up for sale is my 2005 ZX-12R Ninja. I have owned the bike since the fall of 2008. Really only rode it for the 2009 season. Only rode 5 times in 2010, 5-10 times in 2011 and twice in 2012. I put brand new tires on in the spring of 2009, performed regular oil changes and it has always been garage kept. I have never stunted the bike...don't know how too and would be to scared to anyway if I did. The bike has a full after market Muzzy exhaust. The bike has shaved front turn signals and the rear signals are after market. The bike also has a black after market wind screen. I'm also willing to throw in two used helmets one of which is an ICON brand and an ICON riding jacket that has a removable thermal lining for a small fee which is negotiable. Not only is the bike incredibly fast but is very comfortable to ride. The stance and the seat make it a joy to ride. Now, a couple of things that I want you know about the bike. First of all, the owner before me hit a pot hole/bump about 3 weeks before I bought the bike. The jarring of the impact created a short or knocked something loose and the electric guages haven't worked since. For that reason, I have to estimate that the miles are somewhere in the 12,xxx to 13,xxx range. Like I said, I only really rode for the 2009 season and I got the bike with 8400 miles on it. I'm honestly estimating high to be fair. I have checked with a shop here in town and they said that they can diagnose the issue for about 75 bucks. Second, the bike does have a salvage title. A previous owner had the bike fall over in his garage and turned it into insurance to replace all of the fairings. The frame, swing arm and forks are all straight as an arrow. The bike does have a few scratches/blemishes on it and I will be more than happy to point them out to you if you come look at the bike. Also, in looking at the bike the other day, I noticed that the idle linkage needs to be adjusted but it is just that, an adjustment. I will be extremely candid about any questions you have but I ask for serious inquiries only please. I'm busy just like you. You may email me or text/call (click to respond)ven Five Zero.5562. If you call and I don't pick up, PLEASE leave a message with your name and number. Good luck. -Derek-
