LUCY & SPIKE- mom & son Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier Young Female for sale in Lincoln, Nebraska

LUCY & SPIKE- mom & son's story
Lucy and Spike are a mother and son duo looking to find a forever home together. Lucy is a tri-pawd but she doesn't miss a step and gets along great without her right rear leg. They are playful with each other and get along with the other dogs in their foster home, big and small. They do a good job of leaving the seniors and dogs even littler than the two of them alone, but have a jolly time playing with a medium sized dog and one their size. They even discovered the snow can be fun. Sometimes Spike doesnt like to be outside too long when he has to go to the bathroom and his owner might have to wait him out. There are just so many fun adventures and toys inside!!! Both are doing pretty well with potty training. Spike will improve with consistency and time to adjust to his new home. Both are kennel training and kenneled together at night or when their fosters are at work. They enjoy napping together or with one of their temporary fur siblings. They met a 5yr old and 3yr old recently and did very well. They would do great in a home with children or other dogs. Lucys 3 legs dont stop her from play or getting around. Spike can be a little bit rough and tumble when playing with his mom, but might be a little timid when meeting new people or pets. Once comfortable both will be loving companions. Spike seems to enjoy human cuddles more often this his mom and is eager to please. Lucy is curious about rabbits and squirrels and thus would really love to have a fenced yard.
Lucy & Spike are Chorkies (Chihuahua-Yorkie mix), Lucy weighs 14 lbs and is 2-3 yrs old, Spike weighs 10 lbs and is 7 mos old. They are both altered (spayed/neutered), vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease.
